Grandpa's Great Escape

The story is set in the 1980s and follows Grandpa – a World War II pilot whose memory loss reaches the point where his family can no longer look after him. Against his wishes he moves to an old people’s home called Twilight Towers, run by Miss Dandy. She is up to no good and so, with the help of his grandson Jack, an escape plan is hatched. His dying wish is to fly a Spitfire once more and again Jack helps to make this come true.
Starring Tom Courtney, Jennifer Saunders as Miss Dandy, David Walliams as the Dad and some wonderful performances by younger actors.

Anne says: "This was a wonderful opportunity to score an escape movie in the tradition of the great World War 2 film scores - albeit on a much more modest scale! I particularly liked the gravitas that Tom Courtney brought to the part of Grandpa which gave a chance of some real emotion in the music."
