The Gathering

"The Gathering" are the half ghostly creatures who silently witness the world's greatest disasters. They are immortal and damned to watch catastrophes and murders for eternity, just as they stopped to watch the crucifixion of Christ. Terrifyingly they begin to gather round an ordinary English country town. Christina Ricci plays the unwitting visitor who finds herself embroiled in the unfolding nightmare. She sacrifices her life to save the lives of some children but then – is she one of "The Gathering"?
