A Spotify playlist "String Driven Thing" includes a selection of Anne's string arrangements:

Classical

Anne wrote two operas in collaboration with Terry Jones both commissioned by The Royal Opera House. "The Doctor's Tale" was premiered in the Linbury Theatre and "The Owl and the Pussycat" was performed as part of London's Cultural Olympiad.

Anne collaborated with the distinguished cellist Steven Isserlis on a series of children's musical fairy tales. The first "Little Red Violin" is published by Universal Edition. The second is "Goldiepegs and the Three Cellos" and a third "Cindercella". Steven performed  "Little Red Violin" at his  Wigmore Hall residency in 2011 and the orchestral version received its premiere at Darmstadt.

Radio France Philharmonique commissioned a 15 minute work as part of the SACEM prize for "Elle". The piece, "Hail the Superheroes" recieved its premiere in Paris in 2019.

Anne's ongoing relationship with the BBC Concert Orchestra resulted in arrangements of "The Model" by Kraftwerk and Pulp's" Hardcore" for their concert "Electronica" series at the QEH. She has arranged "Fes-tival" for a concert by the BBC Symphony Orchestra playing along side the Orchestre Arabo-Andalou de Fes from Morocco.

Anne's commission for the BBC Concert Orchestra - "Northern Lights" was performed at The Royal Festival Hall and broadcast on "Late Junction". The piece was also performed in November 2006 at the "Red White and Blue" concert of contemporary British Music at the QEH:

"finely scored and imagined...dancing delicacy is given depth and perspective by surrounding evocations of darkness. The simple but magical ending, which revisits the start with a quiet underlying rumble of drums, is one of the best moments in recent British music." - The Independent.

"Glints from harp and celesta led towards the aurora borealis, the fiesta of light, conjured up in brilliant orchestrations. For 13 minutes you felt yourself in Norway itself" - The Times.

In November 2013 Anne  was commissioned to compose two pieces as part of "The Rest is Noise" festival on the Southbank. She re-visited "Into Battle" as a re-mix for orchestra and collaborated with Paul Morley on a soundtrack to the 80s entitled "Rhythm of a Decade".

She has been commissioned four times to provide arrangements for the BBC "Last Night of the Proms" at the Albert Hall. Firstly a selection from "Mary Poppins" for orchestra, soloist and choir, followed  by an arrangement of Latin American favourites for the tenor Juan Diego Florez and a medley of World War 1 songs with Gerald Finley and Jess Gillam as soloists. Most recently she arranged "Pomp and Circumstance" for a smaller, socially distanced BBC Symphony Orchestra.

Anne composed a concert piece for the violinist Joshua Bell entitled "The Man with the Violin" featuring narration and animation. It was premiered in Washington and Ottawa and further performances are planned.

Hertfordshire Music Service commissioned a choral piece "I am Alban" for their 2020 Gala Concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Anne collaborated with the poet Ian McMillan on this.
